As if I were on a VacaTion
I was not able to blog for two weeks because my sister was here for a 2-week vacation. I spent most of my time going with her. Most of her time was spent on shopping. That is every women's passion, shopping. We went on window shopping at the most expensive shops in Amsterdam. That was my first time to go there. We did not buy anything. We just strolled in the street looking at the window shops. We also went to Albert Cuypmarkt in Amsterdam. There she bought some blouses and souvenirs for her husband and friends. She did not buy many things because she was afraid that it would not fit in her baggage. She left some of her things. She did not exceed but she did not have any space for her two sandals and winter jacket. The jacket does not fit me so I will just keep it.
We went to Madame Tussauds, a wax museum located in Amsterdam. We visited Keukenhof, the park of tulips. Madurodam, the place where you can see the whole Netherlands in miniature.
During the night we talk about anything or sit behind the computer. I taught her how to play online casinos, send emails and chat. She chatted with our sister and niece. Her first time to be on a webcam. She does not have any ideas about computer and internet. She planned to buy computer when my niece comes to Canada. I missed her and hope to see her soon.

After Madame Tussauds we ate our lunch then we went shopping at the most expensive shops in Amsterdam such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and many more. Just a window shopping since the items are very, very expensive. You know already Italian products. We went home around 4 pm. We were exhausted since we took a train from my house to Amsterdam. It is a very busy city. It is very difficult to park if you go by car. I will post more pictures next time. Continue reading...

Play Online Casinos
I am very busy these days because my sister from Canada is here for a 2-week vacation. Last Wednesday we went to Madurodam, one of the best tourist attractions in the Netherlands. The other night I taught her how to use a computer. She does not have any knowledge about computer. I taught her how to chat and send messages. Yesterday for the first time, she chatted with our sister in the Philippines. After that, I showed her how to play online casinos. She likes it very much. She has a problem when she goes back to Canada because she does not have a computer so she cannot play anymore. She has just decided that she will buy a computer because our niece will come to Canada next month. Our niece knows about computer so she can teach her. In this way, my sister can play again online casinos.
Enjoy your weekend by playing online casinos!

HiS 3D iNviTation CaRds
He will be 6 next week, March 16. I made invitation cards for Kevin's 6th birthday. They were 3-dimensional cards. It is easy to make 3d cards. You need 4 pieces of 3d the same designs. You cut a piece away everytime you put on the next new layer, and so on.
I already gave the cards to his friends in school. The other day I mailed the cards to my friends. On the 24th he will be having a birthday party together with his friends at Mc Donald. My husband's family will come on the 20th to greet him. My sister from Canada will be joining us celebrating Kevin's birthday party on the 21st together with my Filipina friends.
If you want to know more about 3d-card making, just leave a message. Continue reading...

She will arrive at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam at 8:15 in the morning on March 15. Me and my kids are now counting the days til on the 15th. I'll be posting about her stay so that my family in the Philippines can follow us. I will post pictures so that you will also see the Netherlands tourist places such as the tulips, wooden shoes, windmills, dikes, old architectures and many more.
So, hang on! and join her as I tour her to my country, THE NETHERLANDS.

Montessorischools in the Netherlands
My children go to school in Montessorischool. Montessorischools have different teaching techniques. Kids work independently, at their own tempo. In my daughter's group, the kids aged 7, 8 and 9. When a child gets bored, he may go to the next group. He doesn't have to wait for the school year to end unlike the public schools. If he did good in the class he could do more challenging work without waiting for the other children. This is what I like Montessorischools.
Yesterday afternoon parents were welcome to see chilren's work. This time parents have to do something. Our children became teachers. They asked us to do something like what I did here. I have to read a story and then answer the questions, then Annabel had to check if I did it right.

FUnny MonDaY, TheRe are NO hOneST LawYeRs
"Here lies an honest man and a lawyer," responded the lawyer.
"Sorry, but I can't do that," replied the stonecutter. "In this state, it's against the law to bury two people in the same grave. However, I could put `here lies an honest lawyer'."
"But that won't let people know who it is!" protested the lawyer.
"Sure it will," retorted the stonecutter. "People will read it and exclaim, "That's impossible!" Continue reading...
